2017 PANEL OF RELAUNCHERS

Beth Grinai

Beth Grinai

A mom of three, Beth Granai worked out of her home office for 14 years doing consulting gigs and managing a family business so she could be at home while her kids were young. Prior to that she had risen through the corporate ranks as an IT sales professional, and her last full-time position was Director of Sales leading a team of 8.  In late 2014 with college tuition in sight, it was time to re-launch, and at the end of January this year, Beth landed an ideal part-time position back in the IT services industry.  A year and a half later, this role continues to be a perfect fit for her as she can still pack lunches and see her kids off to school in the morning and get them to their after school activities.  In the hours in between, she cranks out a lot of business development work and enjoys every minute of being part of a great team of at Integrated Technical Services in Durham.

Virginia Jurkin

Virginia Jurkin

Virginia has recently re-entered the full time workforce, after many years enjoying her favorite job ever – Mom!

She is currently an Account Manager for DDI Print, where she puts all her skills and experience to work for her clients.

A native of Niagara Falls, New York, Virginia took advantage of her company’s reorganization, and moved to Raleigh in 1993, leaving behind the snow and cold, but continuing her Sales and Marketing career in the high tech industry.

After deciding to stay home to raise her daughter, Virginia stayed active with marketing and consulting work, much volunteering, and eventually opening her own Eldercare business.

In between work and being Mom, Virginia is happiest outdoors – walking the dogs, biking, swimming and hiking.  Most of all, she enjoys taking road trips with her daughter, seeing family and visiting college campuses!!
